The Schuylkill Trail

Valley Green at Wissahickon Valley Park

One of the best trails for those times that you truly want to immerse yourself in nature, Valley Green at Wissahickon Valley Park offers a flat trail surrounded by more challenging hiking trails. Depending on which trail you choose, you can climb steep hills or simply enjoy a scenic walk on a wide path trail. Miles Park

One of the best parks in the region is located within eight minutes of Matson Mill. Miles Park, with its playgrounds, playing fields, basketball courts and walking trail is a local favorite and it’s easy to see why. The trial takes you on a quiet path through the park and continues through the backyards of area neighborhoods to Plymouth Whitemarsh High School and back.
